Colex Silv-Ion hose and tube is produced from a clear flexible Shore A74 PVC compound formulated from FDA approved ingredients with the addition of Biomaster Antimicrobial protection.
Tested in accordance with ISO 22196:2011 on over 50 different bacteria species, in over 2000 different applications, Biomaster has been proven to reduce harmful species such as MRSA, E.coli, Listeria, Salmonella, and Campylobacter by up to 99.99%.
In independent tests it has been proven to be effective against Pseudomonas, E.coli, Legionella & MRSA & other harmful organisms & is especially effective where there is infrequent use of the water supply in warm conditions.
